Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training; Ability to read a tape measure; Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 75 lbs; Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.Do you have a passion for building? If so, you may be perfect for this manufacturing position!Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
Keeps area neat and clean
Reads and use a tape measure
Reads blue prints and orders
Communicates well with coworkers
Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
Must have a strong work ethic - consistently arrive on time and per scheduled shift - EVERY DAY
Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
Must understand safety procedures
Must have good teamwork skills
Must live the Champion Operating Principles
WORK SCHEDULE
The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required.
Education and/or Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
