The Product Assurance Engineer I participates in all aspects of the customer complaint resolution process of Pixelle’s Spring Grove mill. The position is also responsible for learning and understanding the functions of the Mill and providing service regarding product improvement.  Role and Responsibilities Supports policies and practices of Pixelle. Assures customer satisfaction with Pixelle. Apply policies outlined within Pixelle’s Product Guarantee and Claims Manual.Suggests improvements to Product Assurance Policy.  Administers the Customer Complaint System for Pixelle’s Spring Grove mill.Receives and accepts customer complaints; investigates complaints; responds to complaints; maintains data in complaint system.Communicates complaint issues throughout the organization; authors comprehensive investigation summaries; Adheres to ISO9001 QMS Operational Procedure Q Op-PA-01. Initiates return authorizations and return of paper notices.  Initiates customer credits.  Interacts with customers and their facilities.  Participates in quality review sessions. Participates in product improvement projects. Interfaces with production facilities. Supports the Product department. Learns the paper, printing, and converting process.
