That means being first choice for students and first choice for employees which includes increasing the diversity of our faculty and staff.As a strategic executive leader, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive public relations and communication plan that will enhance the University’s image and position regionally and nationally. As an effective and dynamic communicator, you will ensure that the SRU brand is communicated to constituents, both internal and external, which are tied directly to SRU’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.You will lead, guide, and direct the UMC team, sharing your vision for success, and developing a cohesive and engaged team, promoting opportunities for professional growth, whereby establishing a premier communication and marketing department for the campus.You will be responsible for maintaining positive and engaging professional relationships with media representatives and coordinating strategic approaches that drive college priorities.You will contribute to a culture in which partnering with other offices, academic departments, and external agencies is a priority. As such, you will also be asked to weigh in on strategic decisions through the lens of branding, reputation management, inclusive messaging, and risk management.Minimum salary is $100k, depending on qualifications. Minimum Qualifications
