Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in Slatington, Pennsylvania. This role is on-site and is essential to our business operations. The individual will be handling a variety of tasks from overseeing business office support staff to managing student billing and refund processes. Responsibilities: Supervise and provide direction to business office support staff Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all tuition, fee charges, and accounts receivable Oversee student billing and refund processes Manage third party and billing/collections Reconcile third party collection data with an administrative computer system Review daily TouchNet transactions and prepare corresponding entries Ensure accurate recording and deposit of daily cash receipts Reconcile Accounts Receivable related general ledger accounts each month Provide counter and telephone support as needed Develop and maintain an operations and procedures manual for this position.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600Requirements Must possess a University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency in General Ledger management and maintenance. Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures. Proficient in Billing processes, including invoice creation and payment tracking. Strong ability to supervise and manage a diverse team of accounts payable professionals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven track record in problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. Proficiency in using Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
