The Quality Assurance Technician assists the Quality Engineers to ensure that the organization's products and services follow the company's quality requirements, in addition to complying with customer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and reliability.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs daily quality audits of all finished goods to ensure our customers are satisfied with the quality of the product sold to them.
Tracks internal quality issues and updates internal quality log for final QC of products.
Assist the Quality Engineers in solving internal quality problems that lower production efficiency and increase cost due to rework.
Assists in the development, implementation, and adherence to the quality program.
Perform audits of in-process quality checklists, forms, and other documents; randomly inspects and verifies quality control check for conformance to prescribed standards.
Audits work performance to standard operating procedures.
Participates in and leads, if necessary, root cause analysis to help resolve quality defect issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skill/Abilities
Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
Excellent organizational skills with an eye for attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience
Highschool diploma.
Experience as a quality technician or related role preferred.
3+ years in transformer industryPhysical Requirements
