Environmental Technician IIJob Summary:The Environmental Technician II works independently onfield projects, completes all field tasks, including mobilization, sampling materials in the field, documentation of field procedures, and any related tasks in support of field efforts. The Environmental Technician II professionally prepares documents (figures, tables, text, email correspondence, etc.) to describe and/or present results.Responsibilities:

Manages projects related to Underground Tank Inspection, Phase I Environmental Site Inspections.

Conducts fieldworkfor tank closure activities following USTIF program requirements, performssample collection, sample delivery, and documentation of sampling procedure.

Receives and reviews analytical data, assemble tables, figures (with assistance from staff GIS and AutoCAD Technicians).

Prepares conclusions and recommendations in written and verbal form.?

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or applicable degree program.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Environmental Technician, Scientist, or related roles

Working knowledge of DEP and other compliance

Solid knowledgeof general environmental health and safety standards

Completion of OSHA HAZWOPER training, ability to work independently
