Communicates safety hazards to peers and management promptly.

Utilizes the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care to formulate holistic, patient-centered care plans.

Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care and apply growth and development principles.Assesses patient data and interprets information to identify age-specific needs.Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and families.Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a complex environment.Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.UPMC-approved national certification preferred.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC).CPR certification required per AHA standards, including didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.Graduate nurses must complete the licensure examination within 6 months of hire or 1 year of graduation.Temporary permits valid for one year from graduation date, not from issue of permit.Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.Act 34 and OAPSA clearances required.
