We encourage you to apply today!Watch this videoto see how you can make a difference at the Selinsgrove Center!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Residential Services Unit Manager, you will oversee the 2nd shift unit and direct the total program of habilitation for individuals with intellectual disabilities residing at Selinsgrove Center. You will lead an interdisciplinary team of professional, technical, and paraprofessional employees who deliver habilitative training, physical care activities, and health maintenance on a 24-hour basis to each resident. You will also monitor services to ensure full compliance with licensing requirements. This role requires strong communication skills to promote teamwork and advocate for developmentally disabled individuals while using thorough knowledge of treatment methodologies to support active treatment. In addition, you will complete rounds of all living areas, maintain operational records, and conduct training to ensure consistent policy application.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work weekends, holidays, and alternative shifts on a rotating basis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years professional therapeutic experience in a residential program providing rehabilitative, restorative, or habilitative care program services for individuals with a developmental disability, including two years in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, nursing, business, or hospital administration;or

An equivalent combination of professional experience and training which includes two years supervisory experience in a residential program providing rehabilitative, restorative, or habilitative care program services for individuals with a developmental disability.Other Requirements:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
