This position is responsible for assisting lead work and supervisory residential staff with development, delivery, and monitoring of treatment, training, and related services.Selinsgrove Center is in a nice rural location just outside of the borough. Our Residential Services Aides are responsible for delivering treatment and training services in the areas of self-care, socialization, and health maintenance. These treatment and services are specified in each Individual Habilitation Plan/Individual Support Plan (IHP/ISP).Duties include assisting with the development of each individual's IHP/ISP by completing designated portions of the self-care assessment, assisting in the implementation of each individual's IHP/ISP by conducting specified training plans, and assisting with monitoring and reviewing each individual's IHP/ISP by recording and reporting required information. In addition, you assist in conducting a program of environmental enhancement, provide opportunities for the individuals served, and interacting with unit and facility staff to maintain effective unit operations.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, rotating schedule, with 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (commonwealth title);or

Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
