Precision Optical Filter Manufacturing

Mosaic Optoelectronics, Inc. (http://www.mosaicengineering.com) is a small manufacturer of specialized optical filters. We are currently based in State College, PA, but are expanding and establishing an office in the Scranton area. We currently are going through a rapid expansion in our business, and are in critical need of additional help with the assembly and manufacturing of our filters. These filters are made of small, precice parts, and are assembled in a carefully controlled clean environment; comfort using small precision tools, good fine motor skills, and good close-up vision will all be very helpful towards this work. A background or interest in engineering, physics, photography, or the like would be helpful but not strictly required, as would be facility working with small precise machines or delicate equipment. Experience with CAD / CAM software and CNC machining would also be very helpful. Compensation would be based on flexibility, initiative, ability to solve problems independently, and the variety of roles you are able to assist us with.
