Mavis Discount Tire - Fleet Mechanic
Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're looking for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join Team Mavis at one or our Distribution Centers in Moosic, PA. With nearly 2,000 locations, Mavis is the fifth largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.
About the Position of Fleet Automotive Technician / Mechanic
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Fleet Automotive Technicians / Mechanics are responsible for all preventative maintenance and mechanical repair needed for Mavis's fleet vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performing preventative maintenance in a timely manner to reduce breakdowns and costs
Updating the Warehouse Managers of concerns and potential problems with equipment
Informing operations of any equipment that needs to be restocked or replaced
Being accountable for all work within the assigned job
Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Fleet Mechanic, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; (3) possess at least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position; and (4) possess a valid driver's license.
