Find your future with us.Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated, entry / associate Tooling Engineer to support / join the Vertical Lift (VL) program/ team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support for tooling used to build composite parts, and will have an Engineering background with experience in a production environment. The selected candidate will report to the Philadelphia Production Engineering Team.Boeing Vertical Lift products support the vital missions of defense forces around the world and provide protection and relief in a constantly changing geopolitical environment. With more than 70 years of leadership in rotorcraft technology, Boeing has consistently demonstrated dedication to improvement and innovation.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Entry and/or Associate Engineer.Position Responsibilities:

Assists with the development of basic equipment and tooling concepts.

Designs solutions for the Production System.

Compiles and analyzes technical data for equipment and tooling.

Assists with compliance reviews regarding safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.

Supports the tracking of contractual performance milestones, the development of preventative maintenance and spares plans, assists with production readiness planning, and training of Production and Maintenance personnel.

Develops and implements basic work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation. Assists with the disposition of assets.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): (see education and experience for the levels below)

Current bachelor of science from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
