Candidates will use hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products. All lifting will be done as a team, but candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 40-45 lbs on their own a handful of times per shift. There is also an opportunity to train on machinery or learn how to weld.Skills
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift
Use of various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift
Handling machinery, equipment or parts near moving mechanical parts
Ability to interface with a diverse workforce
Good housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures
Accurate production reporting and quality paperwork
Awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies
