In this role, you will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the mechanical upkeep of all park vehicles, such as trucks, tractors, mowers, and small equipment. Your regular duties will include changing filters, belts, tires, and oil, along with lubrication services and replacing mufflers and tailpipes. More advanced tasks will involve brake repairs, tune-ups, and adjustments to valves and carburetors. You will also handle electrical work, which includes repairing and installing outlets, switches, lights, electric heaters, and fans, as well as setting up electric service for cabins and park facilities. Plumbing tasks will require you to install and maintain fixtures, repair lavatories, water closets, and fountains, and manage water lines and heating systems. In carpentry, you will repair doors and windows, replace cabin logs, use power tools, and assist with major repairs like roof work and shingle laying. Welding responsibilities will involve using arc and acetylene welders for various materials. Additionally, you will repair bridge structures, including building forms, finishing concrete, welding steel parts, and operating construction equipment. The position also includes painting buildings and performing masonry work on foundations, walks, and walls, while supervising a small team of semi-skilled workers in these activities.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Evenings, weekends, and Holidays as needed

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or

Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
