1st and 2nd shift both available. Typically a Monday – Friday schedule, plus on-call rotation.
1st shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Minimum qualifications:
At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a production environment
Experience troubleshooting and replacing motors, gearboxes and conveyers
Basic electrical skills
Basic welding/fabricating skills
Essential duties/responsibilities:
Assists in the installation of new equipment.
Works with the Plant Manager and/or other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects.
Follows preventative maintenance schedule.
Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment.
Changes electrical breakers and electrical starters; operates voltage, amp, and ohm meters.
Cleaning and painting of process equipment and facility to maintain plant appearance.
Facility maintenance
Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
Responsible for using assigned safety equipment including a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, welding protection, and a safety harness; responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations.
Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
All other duties as assigned.
