Saucony Creek Brewing Company is a GABF Gold Medal winning microbrewery in Kutztown, PA. We are fanatical about making great craft beer and celebrating it with modern American cuisine as well as new interpretations of the area's traditional favorites.
We are planning for growth and expansion, and looking to add full and/or part time Line Cooks & Dishwashers to our team. Positions require:
A commitment to being at work on time. Punctuality is a must!
Maintain kitchen work area in a sanitary, clean and orderly manner
Work in a "CAN DO" teamwork environment with kitchen and Front of House staff
A good attitude with a sense of humor - We expect a "NO ATTITUDE" work environment
Weekend shift work
Job requirements - Line Cooks - 35 to 40 hours a week or part time flexible:
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
Food preparation and portioning prior to service
Ability to lift 30 to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Observe ServSafe standards for food handling and safety
High School diploma
Job requirements - Dishwashers - 35 to 40 hours a week or part time flexible:
Wash dishware, flatware, pots, pans, etc. using automatic dishwasher or by hand
Inspect washed items and & place them in storage areas
Stock supplies such as utensils, dishware, etc. in usage areas
Sweep and mop floors
Sort and remove trash
Receive deliveries
Transfer supplies and equipment between receipt, storage and work areas
Ensure proper food storage and holding temperatures to ServSafe standards
Help to create a safe, professional environment for our team members
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and sometimes to 40 lbs.
High School diploma
Experience in a hotel, pub or restaurant environment is a plus
