Explore our career opportunities for new graduates today!Job PurposeThe intern position will have hands-on experience with computer-related equipment and will be providing computer hardware, software and technical support to EnerSys employees and non-employees. Duties include maintaining computer systems including software and hardware on desktops and laptops, resolving Internet and network access issues (both wired and wireless), providing network printer support, and determining causes of computer / software / network malfunctions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining and upgrading computers and equipment as necessary

Proving technical support to the user community

Replacing defective or broken equipment as necessary

Assist in maintaining inventory records and equipment documentation.

Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other service needs.

Maintain open communications and positive relationships with staff.QualificationsMust have awareness of the PC industry's current and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology.

Should possess ability and desire to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.

Ability to perform tasks such as providing application software installations and upgrades, disk encryption,

Must have basic computer knowledge.

Must be confident in knowledge of Windows operating systems specifically W10 and W11.

Must be a self-motivated problem solver with a desire to learn new technologies.

Should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation, and an understanding of how to apply resolutions effectively.

Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time.

Ability to exercise good judgement and effectiveness in working with a high performing team.General Job Requirements
