With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.Job PurposeOur Corporate Office has an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious HR Intern to join our Human Resources Team in Reading, PA. This is a hybrid position, to be onsite and also with the opportunity to work from home based on the agreed upon schedule.

The HR Intern can expect to grow their HR knowledge and experience in a thriving global organization. This individual will be responsible for providing support to various areas and projects, most specifically the compensation team in the compensation program restructure project, job descriptions review, electronic filing saving, and also general HR administration, assisting employees, and other ad hoc HR projects.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with HR managers and other HR partners to review and consolidate the job descriptions and ensure appropriate matching to our job classification framework.

Electronically save, file and store all job description and position management documents.

Prepare or analyze data in reports using Success factors and excel on an as needed basis.

Assist with internal communications.

Assist with reviewing current processes and identify areas for improvement.

Work on other HR related duties or ad hoc projects as assigned.

Assist other HR Team members as required.

Actively promote and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment.

High School diploma or GED

Working towards a university degree or college diploma in business or human resources

Exceptional computer skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and listening Previous customer service and office experience is a plus Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and action oriented.General Job Requirements
