Full-Time Help Needed for the Grounds Crew at QPRC This Full-Time position, working with ourGrounds Crew, is ideal for someone who is looking to be active and spend a lot of time outdoors! The hours consist of Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.Rates up to $17.00per/hour (rates vary based on prior experience)Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible to perform such functional tasks such as mowing, trimming, blowing, or cutting grass and shrubbery.

Responsible to perform some landscaping functions such as mulching, weeding, plantings, cleaning out, etc.

Responsible for the care and maintenance of all the fountains around the site.

Responsible to perform minor tree trimming work.

Responsible for regularly cleaning and sweeping off outside entrances, patios, gazebo’s, etc. Main entrances need cleaned off daily.

Responsible to assist the Facility Services Departmentduring snow removal process and safely operate both small and large equipment (i.e., snow blowers, Bobcat, salt spreaders, etc.). Available to be on call off hours, weekends, and holidays.

Demonstrates the ability to assist with basic maintenance tasks as assigned (i.e., moving furniture, event set ups, etc.)

Completes all urgent work orders within allotted timeframe after receipt.

Conducts regular inspections of the property and report’s findings to the Director of Maintenance for necessary follow-up.

Demonstrates the ability to use electronic hand held devices to self-manage daily work assignments through the Worxhub software, provided by QPRC

Properly operates cell phone or 2-way radio equipment as required.

Assists as directed with the chemical treatment of the pool & spa in the Commons Bldg.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Must possess a valid PA Driver's License

Strong customer service skills

Enjoys being outside

Reliable

Able to work alone or as part of a team
