$16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience

Must have previous banking experience to be considered

General Responsibilities:Responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank; coordinating work within the office, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information; assisting the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks to support office operations.Essential Duties:

Works as an active member of the branch office sales/service team as follows:

Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner at all times

Performs Personal Banker I related duties of which the following are illustrative; provides paying /receiving services to customers; i.e. cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing loan payments, money transfers, and withdrawals, etc.; maintains and balances a cash drawer; performs daily ATM balancing and maintenance procedures; performs end-of-shift/day balancing procedures; prepares daily branch bags for courier pickup; assembles cash orders as needed for businesses; operates and balances credit card machine for cash advances; scans, checks, and verifies daily work.

Maintains general supply inventory of Teller area.

Provides customer assistance as Safe Deposit Box Attendant.

Performs cash vault/vault custodian duties; prepares weekly cash order

Performs Customer Service-related duties to new and established Bank customers of which the following are illustrative:

Opens and processes new accounts for customers; checking, savings, IRA, and certificates of deposit accounts, safe deposit boxes, etc.

Prepares, maintains, and verifies all account documentation for file; i.e. signature cards and resolutions completed, business account packets complete; all CIP information gathered and complete, etc.

Maintains knowledge in all aspects of the loan process including discussing and accepting credit applications, profiling, and document gathering for all non-real estate and real estate secured loans as branch needs dictate; insures loan packages are complete before returning to loan service department.

Assist Branch Manager to achieve branch growth goals by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services that best fit their needs; maintains regular communications with new and existing customers to develop deeper relationships; actively refers customers to bank partners as appropriate i.e. Commercial Lenders, Financial Advisors, Business Banking Specialists etc; meets or exceeds assigned personal production goals as assigned.

Supports the branch manager by providing leadership, training, and support to less experienced branch staff members

Oversees the branch and makes appropriate decisions as needed in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Provides assistance with system overrides and signing authority.

Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.

Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Assists the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks to support office operations.

Actively participates in community activities as encouraged by the Bank

Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Skills:Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative and sales skills; proficient PC skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a proficient knowledge of the teller system, transaction documents, and processing customer transactions; knowledge of vault transactions and balancing; a working knowledge of bank consumer and business products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products; visual and auditory skills.Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or bank operations

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associate's degree preferred; specialized bank and customer service training
