Job Description: We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school for elementary school students. We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders regarding students communication and development of life skills. Additional responsibilities will include;
Provide daily services through a variety of service delivery models
Implement AAC and conduct interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AAC implementation across disciplines
Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identify necessary classroom accommodations
Provide appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students
Navigate the dismissal process for students who are no longer eligible for speech and language services
Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ IEPs
Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
School-based and/or pediatric experience working with all ages
Experience with AAC or children with Autism is a plus!
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
