Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: PartTime/ Day Shift / 40 hours per pay periodDiakon Lutheran Social Ministries is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Senior Living Services and Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries.General Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with the planning, organizing and coordinating of the daily operation of the assigned Senior Community Center.

Works with the Center Manager in making provisions for the delivery of Meals on Wheels; including assignment of routes to paid and volunteer staff.

Assists the Center Manager with the recruitment, orientation, training, support and recognition of all center volunteers.

Oversees preparation of food kitchen for operational readiness according to established safety and sanitation procedures.

Assists the Center Manager in planning, implementing and promoting center programs and activities.

Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Program-need covid vaccine card or file for an exemption.

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred.ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.Compensation and Benefits:
