I am the owner of three vacation rental properties: two located at the Long Pond and one at the Big Border Lake. I am seeking individuals living in or around these areas who are passionate about the vacation rental business to join our team.
We are currently looking for a new team member who can serve not only as a cleaning staff but also as a property manager. The position offers an hourly wage of $20 - $25 plus performance-based bonuses. This role goes beyond mere cleaning tasks; we expect a creative approach to ensuring our properties provide a perfect stay for our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation before guest arrival:
Ensure the property is in excellent condition by coordinating repairs with external contractors, checking the operation of appliances, and restocking necessary supplies.
2. Support during guest stays: Address any issues such as lack of hot water or TV connectivity problems promptly to ensure guest comfort.
3. Post-checkout cleaning: Includes laundering linens, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, garden maintenance, and more to prepare the property for the next guests.
Furthermore, as your property management skills develop, opportunities to manage reservations, customer relations, and marketing on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo will become available. For those with the capability to manage multiple properties, there may be opportunities to establish a business partnership by launching a management or cleaning company. Additionally, when acquiring new properties, you could join our investor group as a property partner.
