We are a highly motivated and forward thinking team and we are looking for a hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality dental care to our patients, focusing on preventive oral health measures and patient education. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. You must be great with people and have good communication skills. We are willing to discuss both full and part-time scheduling opportunities, based on your availability. " Our office provides an excellent work environment with no weekends!

Responsibilities:

-Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.

-Take and develop dental radiographs ( x-rays) as necessary.

-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices and preventive care practices.

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

-Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before patient appointments.

-Utilize dental systems for patient management and record keeping.

-Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during dental procedures.

-Provide care tailored to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding during treatments.

- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

-Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.

-Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical records management, and aseptic techniques.

-Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous.

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
