POSITION SUMMARY

An experienced and highly influential sales professional responsible for sales of ECRI solutions within an assigned region to acute and sub-acute healthcare providers. Over two thirds of all US hospitals are ECRI customers for at least one of our many solutions. The call points are the C-Suite, Value Analysis Directors, Supply Chain Directors/VPs, Patient Safety, Quality and Risk Management Directors, Clinical Department Administrators and Clinicians. ECRI's sales process involves collaborating with customers to build a compelling value proposition around cost savings and quality improvement by leveraging ECRI's rich data resources, technology platform, and advisory services. The Account Executive in this position manages a multi-million-dollar business and is responsible for both managing a customer base and generating new business.

The qualified candidate must live within 30 miles of the New York Metro territory.

Essential Functions Statements(s)Use a consultative, value-based sales approach to introduce, establish, and/or sustain growth of ECRI products and services in Integrated Delivery Networks, acute care hospitals, Ambulatory and Aging Services healthcare providers.

Identify, qualify, and close new and existing customers consistent with established sales plans and key account targets.

Develop, implement, and effectively follow through with quarterly and annual strategic plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Develop and sustain strong and personable relationships with key customers in order to better address customer requirements.

Represent ECRI at regional and national events.

Provide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, pricing, etc.

Develop and implement strategic Sales/Marketing plans at the local and national level.

Travel with and support organizational leadershipas an expert Regional Account Executive.

Aid leadership covering open territories.

Provide special insights into market conditions to Sales, Marketing and Executive leadership.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

At least five years of recent experience in successful healthcare solution sales/consulting experience, preferably with acute care hospital-based Supply Chain, Value Analysis, Patient Safety, Risk and Quality departments and/or consulting company with VP/Director/C-suite call points.

Candidate must have a proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales objective and managing major accounts.

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Approximately 50% travel. Due to the high volume of travel, it is preferred that the candidate live near a major city or airport within the region.
