The Strategy team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with senior leadership to chart the course for the organization's future. In Strategy, you will identify and analyze exciting new growth opportunities and work with business leaders to prioritize investments and execute strategic transformation.

The Strategy Intern will work on new initiatives and data analytic projects. This paid internship will include working on projects that span across the organization's operational units and functions, with a focus on using analytics and business insights to identify high impact opportunities and work on exploratory growth projects. As an intern at ECRI, youll have the opportunity to get exposed to multiple areas of the business outside of your own team while learning from experienced professionals who are leaders in their field.

Throughout your 10 week internship, you will be deeply involved in the Strategy team, focusing on impacting ECRI's strategic growth areas of new initiatives and data analytics. You will have considerable exposure to senior leadership and networking opportunities across the organization with cross-functional teams to learn about various areas within the organization.

The program requires a full 10 week commitment by the intern to participate in all developmental experiences including formal training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and opportunities to interact with senior leaders.

Essential Functions Statements(s)Work collaboratively across the organization to support the development and delivery of new initiatives and services

Support the organization with data and analytics

Curate available market data from analysts, earnings reports, internal teams, and other sources; work with these sources to ensure we are receiving the most current, accurate data

Become and remain informed about ECRI's business and strategy, including key target markets, product areas, regional dynamics, and competitors

Support growth in new end markets, interacting with members and delivering value

QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Demonstrated interest in healthcare, preferably through internships or extracurricular experiences

Demonstrated academic performance (e.g. strong GPA, academic awards)

Proven leadership ability through academic and extracurricular experiences

Inquisitive and tendency to think outside the box with regards to sources, methods, and solutions

Advanced research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Action oriented with high initiative and ability to think independently

Keen attention to detail

Ability to work as a team across many functions and groups and effectively communicate with people at all levels of an organization and to work independently and as a team member

Flexible, adaptive, agile, resourceful, self-starter, team player

Education: Enrolled as an undergraduate student for the 2022-23 academic year, with an expected graduation date in spring or summer 2023

Computer Skills: Advanced level skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
