POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist Benefits and Leave Administration (the Generalist) is responsible for the implementation and administration of ECRI's health and wellness benefits, as well as ECRI's leave administration program. The Generalist is responsible for ensuring the successful enrollment of all employees in ECRI's health and wellness benefit programs, partnering with our benefits broker and benefit providers to ensure that all benefits information is accurate and issues are resolved in a timely manner; ensuring successful administration of ECRI's leave policies and procedures; and assisting employees to help resolve complex benefits and leave issues. In addition, the Generalist will be expected to support and manage additional Human Resources (HR) tasks and projects in different HR functional areas, as required.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

Implement and administer ECRI's health and wellness benefits program for all employees. This includes, but not limited to:

Management and implementation of all benefit programs for ECRI.

Ensure that all new employees are enrolled in ECRI's health and wellness benefits correctly and in accordance with enrollment requirements and deadlines.

Gather and present annual benefit program design considerations to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Director, Human Resources, with consideration to changing benefits landscape, diverse needs of our employee population, inclusive benefit offerings, and management of costs for all parties while offering a robust set of benefits.

In collaboration with the Director, Human Resources and with support of the Manager, Human Resources Operations Manager, plan, set-up, and execute annual benefits open enrollment. This includes, but not limited to, providing updated and accurate benefit plan information, coordinating open enrollment sessions with benefits broker and benefit providers, ensuring that benefit plans are set-up accurately in ECRI's Human Resources Informatics System (HRIS), and ensuring that all benefit updates are processed accordingly and accurately.

Review, process, and follow-up on qualifying life events submitted through the HRIS in a timely manner.

Ensure that all benefit compliance reporting and notices are completed on time.

Ensures that all benefits' related invoices are appropriately processed and resolve any discrepancies with benefit partners and internal staff.

Effectively communicate and provide guidance on ECRI benefit plans, policies, and procedures throughout the organization and ensure that employees understand their benefits eligibility, coverage, and other benefit related matters.

Support employees with benefit-related questions, including resolving complex issues as needed.

Coordinate with benefit vendors to answer questions, maintain benefits programs and facilitate open enrollment activities.

Administer ECRI's leave program, including all federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations (e.g., Family and Medical Leave Act, State Leaves,
