A privately owned national tank truck company has an immediate opening for an onsite Logistics Coordinator in customer’s corporate headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Hybrid Position
Pittsburgh-Robinson, Pennsylvania – 2 days per week minimum
Remote: up to 3 days per week
Position: Logistics Coordinator
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm / Mon Fri/5 days / Full Time
Job Summary: Seeking a customer service focused individual to interface directly with our customer to immediately resolve problems and explore solutions. Will function as a single point of contact for the customer‘s daily bulk chemical transportation operations and customer service needs.
Act as a Liaison between customer HQ, site logistics, and dispatch.
Monitor account emails, handle order changes and communicate with appropriate personnel.
Work with dispatchers to create weekly shipping and delivery plans.
Pull regular reports from SAP and manage loads.
Support other personnel as needed.
The successful candidates will have:
Strong SAP and Microsoft software skills (i.e., Outlook, Excel).
Experience working with McLeod TMS and/or Samsara.
An ability to work independently and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
Previous logistics/transportation and/or supply chain management experience is preferred.
Customer-focus orientation with professional writing abilities.
