Dean’s Dumpsters is making dumpsters great again!
Starting in the east area of Pittsburgh, we are delivering new dumpsters mostly to the roofing trade.
We’re looking for a driver to make 12 yard and 16 yard deliveries and pickups to residential job sites.
Our customers are confident that when they order a dumpster it’s the right size, it's delivered at the right time and it's placed in the right spot.
Our customers and crews are easy to work with and we are looking for a driver who upbeat and can communicate and handle the small amount of paperwork.
Summary: Drivers will safely operate a heavy-duty pickup truck and trailer (brand new equipment) and are responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting a variety dumpsters to various locations, including disposal sites, transfer or recycling facilities, and residential or commercial locations.
This driver must navigate driveways, alleyways, parking lots, and high-traffic roadways, operating in tight environments while adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Duties include:
Driving trucks following established routes for dumpster delivery and collection.
Completing all required documentation.
Loading and securing dumpsters properly.
Notifying dispatcher of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Identifying and reporting dumpsters in need of repair or replacement.
Maintain accurate records and logs.
Performing pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and truck.
Performing vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after trips.
Professionally and respectfully interact with customers.
Requirements:
Must have valid drivers license. No CDL required but experience helps.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Acceptable Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) and Clearinghouse report
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
