My name is Alex and I run a thriving mid-size remodeling company that is on the rise and I am seeking to hire:
-One additional lead working foreman-
Someone on the ground leading a kitchen or bathroom project (or both) with tools in their hands who is skilled in all areas of construction and ESPECIALLY has a tasteful eye and a skilled hand to achieve high-level finish work. Someone who knows how to plan out their day, week, and month on a construction project to ensure timely completion of the project. A real get it done MF who can also lead 1-2 other mid tier or laborer employees on a job site, while being charismatic, cordial, and hopefully even a little entertaining with home owners.
$30+/hour depending on skill level. Also want to experiment with job completion bonuses' based on the timeliness of the jobs being completed. We can't offer any benefits at this time, however it is a goal for the future.
-One additional laborer-
Someone who has some experience in construction, take direction and is willing to learn, and works hard. Also would be great to have someone who can also drive a truck around to pick up and deliver materials and haul trash.
$18.50-$20/hour. Price dependent on skillset

I had a mentor tell me once - "The bar is so low in construction that most of the time if you just show up on time and do the bare minimum you will probably beat out most other guys." Hilarious. But sadly true.

Beyond that, we genuinely like building high end products that make our customers dreams' come true. We are going in a direction of doing nothing but high end work.
We've got a great team of 8 including 2 project managers and a design assistant for our kitchen and bath projects. We also work with a large network of subs (always looking for more good sub relationships for Kitchen and Bath if anyone is looking). The projects we do are mostly aesthetically driven to some degree and we try to work with great homeowners. The company is doing great, but we really need one more experienced foreman who wants to work inside a company where they can immediately make a difference, and have plenty of room for future growth.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
-We are seeking someone who is experienced, understands attention to detail, can take direction from project managers, and give direction to those under them.
-Has a positive mindset, take care of themselves, has a good sense of humor, good ethics, likes people.
-Have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
-Smartphone
-Full set of tools
-Most of our jobs are occupied by home owners. Must be comfortable working around that.
