The Type of Work: Gerard Plumbing and Heating provides HVAC servicing, repairs, and installs for mainly residential equipment with some light commercial work. We provide clean, well maintained company trucks and thoughtful logistic scheduling.
The Resources: You will have the opportunity to work and be trained on some of the latest HVAC technologies, we provide all large tools (techs are expected to have their own hand tools), you’ll have multiple sets of company shirts, and you will get your own comfortable, clean work vehicle. Ongoing training is provided through class trainings and you will be supported by a family-owned business that’s been around since 1982.
The Expectations: Gerard Plumbing and Heating is looking for a skilled HVAC Lead Installer. We want someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with others, can stick to a schedule, and is looking to build their career and income by well representing Gerard Plumbing and Heating’s established brand.
The Requirements:
- 3+ year experience in HVAC is desired
- Good work ethic
-Strong Customer Service Skills
- Good leadership skills and someone who enjoys working with other
- Valid driver's license is required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and climb
- Ability to stand and walk for long stretches of the work day
- Must be safety conscious and able to work around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles responsibly
The Pay: As the HVAC Lead Installer you will be paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience, but we also give commissions based on revenue goals, we split the scrap metal cash between our team, offer bonuses, and have a pretty sweet retirement and benefits package.
