Responsibility
Receive RFQ from customer; Sole interface with customer
Review quantity, drawings, customer expectations etc.
Collaborate with Scheduling Supervisor
Source materials/build quote
Send out our RFQ’s to any 3rd parties
o Ensure that 3rd parties are vetted
Send quote to customer
Gather feedback, negotiations or changes
Receive PO’s is received/denied
Order material and verify delivery date
Monitor delivery date and arrival of material
Stay in touch with 3rd parties, verify process lead-times conform to our schedule and adjust as required
Handle final inspection report
Schedule delivery with Truck Driver
General Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints/drawings
Attention to detail
Safety
Mechanical ability
Ideally 1 year of experience or trade school (but not required)
