Northside Community Pilates is a full service studio located in the Deutschtown neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s Northside. We have space available for qualified Pilates Teachers who would like to grow their own clientele in a positive and supportive environment, without the cost of operating a studio. While the studio is equipped with classical equipment, teachers from all backgrounds are welcome.
Please note that this is neither an employment nor independent contractor position. Renters will have the freedom to control their schedule, rates, and teaching style.
The following requirements apply:
- Graduate of a comprehensive Pilates program of 500+ hours OR must be currently enrolled in a comprehensive program, with a known graduation date.
- Must carry liability insurance of a minimum 1,000,000/3,000,000, and provide a copy with NCP listed as an additional covered. If you’re a student, insurance provided by the school counts as long as NCP is listed.
- Have your business registered with the State of PA, and the City of Pittsburgh (grads only).
- Provide NCP with a 1099-misc at the end of the year.
- CPR certification is strongly encouraged.
- Reasonable hourly rates, and rent due once a month.
