We’re seeking a dynamic and adaptable Sales Specialist to join our team and take the lead in representing our exceptional products. While we expect this role to start as Part-Time we hope to make this a full-time role either for the ideal candidate or for high performance within the first 3-6 months.

We are a small company that is starting to grow, this is a relatively early role in the company and will have wide flexibility to shape the Sales and Marketing Operations with unlimited room for growth in the role. Ideally, the “perfect” candidate will be the right hand of the owner assisting with tasks across the business but with a focus on sales initiatives.

Objectives of this role
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas
Generate leads by committing to customer service and building relationships
Adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Conduct incisive and insightful research of markets and competitors
Assist with Creation and Development of distributor relationships and program.
Sales Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of our products and services and ability to communicate them effectively.
Identify potential customers, initiate contact, and guide them through the sales process.
Listen to customer needs, provide tailored product recommendations, and address inquiries.
Demonstrate product features and benefits through presentations and product knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales leads, and progress in CRM systems.
Achieve sales targets by closing deals and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Work closely with the management team to plan and enhance sales strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, using outside-the-box thinking to develop new and unique sales tactics
Work with marketing and management to design industry-specific outreach efforts
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
A results-oriented approach with a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Continuous learning and adaptability to stay updated on product developments and industry changes.
Minimum skills and qualifications
Two or more years of sales experience
Excellent phone and in-person communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to travel locally periodically; most work will be done by phone, however, occasional visits to company warehouse, showroom or customer sites may be required. (personal vehicle required, mileage may be reimbursed)
Home PC Setup Capable of Phone Calls and Using Company Software (stipend or hardware may be provided to qualified candidates)
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including during 9-5 business hours.
Desired skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
Self-Starter with Good Attitude and willingness to adapt and learn.
Experience with Wordpress to assist with web maintenance or willingness to learn.
Experience with Marketing tools and concepts (adwords, meta business suite ads, facebook marketplace promotion, etc.) or willingness to learn.
Experience in Vending Industry or willingness to learn.
