Perform routine facility maintenance tasks in a machine shop setting, including light repairs such as patching drywall, changing lightbulbs.
Maintenance/upkeep of production equipment and machine shop machinery in addition to other relevant equipment.
Groundskeeping upkeep, outbuildings and storage.
Identify and report needs for major repairs.
Open facility and lockup facility.
Act as general day security.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
Proven experience as a handyman or in a machine shop maintenance role is preferred.
Basic understanding of Machine Shop machines, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
Experience with Machine Shop Setting and common hardware tools and power equipment.
Ability to use and troubleshoot basic machinery and equipment.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders.
Ability to work in machine shop setting, including tight spaces, noisy areas, or outdoors.
