Operates programmable Burning Machines, including CNC, to burn plate material to customer specifications. Responsible for operation, maintenance and care of, programmable burning machines including CNC.
Read and understand bills of material, cutting assignments, sketches, etc., with limited instructions from supervisor.
Unload Steel Trucks
Load Plates onto Burning Machine Table;
Burn or Plasma Parts to Desired Shape;
Measure Parts for Accuracy;
Operate Overhead Cranes and Fork Lifts.
Must Have Prior Experience Operating a Burn Machine;
Must Be Able to Operate Overhead Cranes;
Must Have the Ability to Read and Understand Drawings;
Must Have Good Working Knowledge of Computers;
Must Have a Strong Work Ethic, Be Dependable, and Responsible;
Must Have the Ability to Work Independently and Multi Task in a Fast Paced Environment.
