Spirit Venue Manager
Expected Hours: 14-24 hrs/week
Compensation: depends on experience, starting at $22/hr
Direct Reports: Bar staff, Event staff, Kitchen staff
Directly Reports to: General Manager and Owners
Schedule: Thursday-Saturday depending on scheduled events; attend weekly manager meeting on Monday (may be digital)
Service Responsibilities
● Supervise FOH, BOH, and security staff during shift
● Answer phone and provide information to guests
● Provide staff with necessary information for shift and events
● Transition with others on Management team at shift change
● Manage take out orders from ChowNow and by phone
● Artist/Renter event assistance, hospitality and settlement
● Open or Close Banks and POS, as needed
● Assist with calculation and distribution of cash tips
● Check out employees and ensure side work is complete
● Unlock or Lock up Building
● Assist employees in busy times
● Assist with day-of event rental set up / tear down needs
● Maintain clear communication with other managers and managing partners
● Troubleshoot POS systems and call technical support when needed
● Manage customer feedback, complaints, issues
General Requirements
● Must be a resourceful, organized, urgent and creative problem solver, with the ability to lead and encourage others in the same manner
● Must be able to multitask and manage time efficiently
● Must be able to safely lift to 40lb
● Must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
● Must be computer savvy, with experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite ● Must be able to manage a work email account, calendar of events, keep an organized
Google Drive, and work within task management programs such as Asana
● Must have or obtain RAMP Certification for Owner/Manager and Server/Seller and ServeSafe Certification
