Job Overview:
All Things Empanada is an online based shop that does pop-up Markets, catering and delivery service each week. We are seeking someone who is available early mornings 1-2 days a week to work in a shared kitchen. The shift can start as early as 5a, but days and times can vary depending on what markets and catering events we have for that week. You will not interact with customers as we are not open to public dining.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is great for someone who likes flexibility, wants to learn and is self motivated. This is essential for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our day.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cooking baking, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients, and/or lifting heavy pots and trays (30+lbs).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shared kitchen, including washing/drying dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Putting things back in their proper places before ending your shift.
Pressing and packaging empanadas and other products.
Help with catering and Market events by prepping and baking day of.
Experience:
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including ability to use a knife properly. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
Ability to work side by side with the owner and/or most shifts alone.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
