Influence technical product strategy, direction, and goals by understanding business/technical context and working with stakeholders to deliver valuable functionality.
Build and manage relationships with key users and leadership, as well as suppliers.
Work within the team to establish and maintain an understanding of the specific product lifecycle and system and process dependencies.
Achieve product and project goals through collaboration within the team and across teams to determine what needs to be done, why, how, and by when.
Maintain accountability for delivery of projects owned and led by the team, as well as leadership for team activities within larger-scale projects.
Ensure progress is effectively tracked and communicated.
Ensure products and systems are available to meet business needs (incl. on-call support rotation participation) and leverage lessons learned by applying them to our products and ways of working.
Commitment to technical support, which is the backbone of the team. The efforts of support both influence - and are influenced by - the goals and outcomes of the dimensions described above.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data networking, or related fields (equivalent experience/certifications/degrees will be taken into consideration) required.
Three (3) years' related experience required.
Related experience includes but isn't limited to: working in traditional (waterfall) and agile software delivery environments, integration and implementation of vendor applications, etc.
Certifications in applicable technical disciplines preferred.Skills and Abilities Utilized in this Role Include:
Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exhibit sound technical judgment under pressure.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
Experience using SQL, Perl, Python, shell scripting, and Oracle/SQL Server databases beneficial
