The Role:

As the Regional Sustainability Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, you will join the Global Electrical Thermal Solutions Environment & Sustainability Team to lead and support the ETS EMEA Region technically. This includes being the single point of contact with functional alignment for the Vulcanic, Thermocoax, and Chromalox EMEA businesses.

This role will lead the region in ensuring full awareness and actions to ensure the proper execution of our One Planet Strategy while helping improve and embed environmental compliance.Your Responsibilities:

Provide leadership/direction/support within the ETS EMEA Region to ensure consistency and integration of business sustainability objectives across manufacturing/supply sites in the ETS business.

Work closely with the Head of Sustainability (ETS) to ensure sustainability initiatives in EMEA are aligned with business objectives and targets.

Contribute to reviewing and developing supplier sustainability requirements that align with group requirements. Support the prioritization, review, and audit of critical suppliers.

Advise/support supply sites in developing site-based carbon reduction road maps and provide guidance on identifying energy, water, waste, and biodiversity initiatives.

Adopt a proactive approach to improving performance and promoting sustainability to colleagues

Raise awareness of the Sustainability Strategy via both formal and informal engagement and training

Assist in the collation, analysis, and reporting of data to enable the assessment of performance against sustainability targets.

Keep up to date with the sustainability agenda, new legislation, and best practice guidelines and understand how they may affect the Division

Contribute to Group, business, and cross-divisional sustainability forums to share knowledge, drive good practice, and implement the Corporate Sustainability Strategy.

Experience in coordinating sustainability projects.

Understand environmental monitoring and management and be familiar with strategies to deliver change.

Data management and analysis skills.

Lead by coaching, Go Look See, Question and challenge, Act on data, not gut feel. Ensure full compliance to process / standards.Required Experience

At least 6+ years of experience in an environmental management or sustainability role (ideally in a manufacturing environment).

Proven leadership and team skills demonstrated through your experience coordinating sustainability projects.

Proven understanding of environmental monitoring and management and developing sustainability knowledge and skills throughout ETS.

Comfortable & experienced with change management.

Proven data and analysis skills, comfortable working in a fast-changing business.

Demonstrable understanding across the key sustainability subjects that we will be required to implement from the group strategy that is particularly re evant to the EPS business strategy, including:

Carbon management / net zero emissions targets/climate resilience

Environmental improvements - energy, water, waste, biodiversity

Supplier sustainability / sustainable procurement

Product sustainability / Project delivery / Global network influence
