Team Description As part of TSG, Our Organization is on the cutting edge of applying data engineering, web development and data analytics technologies to drive how the firm manages its information technology assets. We interface with numerous groups and systems to source data, extract insights and supply enhanced information for various upstream processes.

The Role Applying tools and techniques of quantitative and qualitative data analysis to a variety of technology process requirements. Researching items independently, working collaboratively with colleagues on solution development and tracking work via formal program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities 1. Contribute technical and qualitative input to improving capabilities of data analysis processes 2. Performing data or analytics activities such as Excel analysis, SQL query scripting, DB mapping, Python data processing, dashboard creation or API integration 3. Monitoring the technology market, internal user feedback and existing outputs for opportunities to improve and expand program capabilities

Qualifications • A passion to use data constructively, such as to look for patterns in quantitative data that reveal insights or to qualitatively understand how people interface with technologies • Interest or experience with any data engineering or automated analytics tools such as Python, R, Pentaho ETL, SQL, Qlik, MS Power BI, Tableau, Excel, REST APIs, etc • Familiar with technology support concepts and ability to communicate with staff from a variety of backgrounds to source feedback

• Knowledge of business analysis concepts of defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and Agile approach to prioritizing work to epics, sprints • Ability to document system functionality, data integration and workflow in Confluence, Visio, Gliffy or equivalent tool • Familiar with web engineering tools such as CSS, Java Spring, Maven, HTML, Angular Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline required, or equivalent work experience required. 2-4 years of experience in a systems environment required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
