In this role, we are seeking a Senior Accountant:This individual prepares financial statements, analyzes and reconciles accounts, analyzes variances, and manages internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting to attain company goals. Crucial components of the role include analytical skills and an ability to handle a challenging, fast-paced work culture. Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP, and financial statement preparation
Coordinate ad-hoc projects as necessary
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Supply balance sheet account reconciliations
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred but not required
Minimum 3+ years of overall general accounting experience
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
