Conducts independent scientific research projects from inception to presentation, including planning, organizing, conducting experiments, assessing protocol feasibility, processing and analyzing data, and conference presentations.

Prepares manuscripts, research proposals, articles, grant applications, work for publications, and presentations based on research results.

Trains undergraduates and/or research technicians.

Recommends, drafts, and manages laboratory policies and procedures.

Facilitates work and project development in collaboration with other industry and academic specialists.

Physical EffortModerate physical effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time.
