DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Description

Vitalant is seeking a Research Associate II to join our Hemophilia Center of Western PA division. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting and supporting clinical research studies, including scheduling patient research study visits, ensuring adherence to study protocols, and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in hemophilia and blood disorder research.What You'll Do:

Recruit and enroll research subjects by reviewing patient records and identifying eligible candidates.

Obtain informed consent and schedule research study visits.

Complete case report forms (CRFs) and submit data through web-based systems.

Process and collect specimens, ensuring compliance with study protocols.

Assist with adverse event reporting and follow safety guidelines.

Work closely with research sponsors, including pharmaceutical companies and physician-led investigator studies.What to Expect:

Recognition and perksRequirements

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent in experience and education required.

Experience in research setting required.

Medical Technologist certification preferred.

Prior knowledge of experimental or study design, data/specimen collection, quality control required.

Four years of related research experience required, or two years related research experience with Medical Technologist certification required.

Phlebotomy skills are preferred, or a willingness to be trained.
