Project Coordinator for the Office of SustainabilityFor the Office of Sustainability; Serves in an administrative capacity and provides administrative support to the project manager and other members of the team. Assists with managing the budget and ensuring compliance with federal regulations; assists with overseeing contracts. Interacts with key stakeholders. Manages daily office operations (responding to and sending correspondence, notetaking, maintaining office calendars, scheduling meetings, processing orders), making reservations and travel arrangements, supporting the grant's social media presence, training and supervising temporary and/or student workers, and handling other tasks.For the RMSTP assists the Project Manager with communication with faculty and fellow participants, coordinating grant reviews, responding to mentee questions regarding reporting requirements, handling travel and meeting arrangements for faculty, preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes. Scheduling participant conference calls.Job SummaryServes in an administrative capacity and provides administrative support to the project manager and other team members. Assists with fiscal management and compliance with federal regulations and the contracts. Manages day-to-day office operations and interacts with key stakeholders.Essential FunctionsThe Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is recruiting a Project Coordinator for the Office of Sustainability in the School of Medicine and the federally funded Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program (RMSTP).The preferred candidate lives within a reasonable daily commute (>40 miles) of the Oakland Campus. A flexible work agreement (hybrid work schedule) will be considered upon successful completion of the new hire probationary period. Travel is required to attend the annual RMSTP meeting.Physical EffortMostly sedentary.
