Post Doctoral.Post Doctoral.Associate Med-Computational and Systems Biology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24005707)A Postdoctoral Associate position in evolutionary systems biology is available in the laboratory of Dr. Anne-Ruxandra Carvunis in the Department of Computational and Systems Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The position will integrate computational and experimental approaches to study how new genes evolve.The Carvunis Lab is seeking a candidate who recently earned a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology or a related field. Experience with wet lab and data analysis is required. Experience with yeast would be considered a plus. The candidate will have the opportunity to receive training in evolutionary and computational analysis and high-throughput functional genomics.
