The position will integrate computational and experimental approaches to study how new genes evolve.The Carvunis Lab is seeking a candidate who recently earned a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology or a related field. Experience with wet lab and data analysis is required. Experience with yeast would be considered a plus. The candidate will have the opportunity to receive training in evolutionary and computational analysis and high-throughput functional genomics.
