Payroll Manager Job Category Accounting / Finance Market Location PA - Pittsburgh area Location PA - Pittsburgh Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg01/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=NVRINC&cws=52&rid=33139) As a Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for processing NVR payrolls and for the day-to-day oversight and development of our Payroll administration team. Your attention to detail, ability to apply controls, and knowledge of Payroll systems will allow you to make an impact to NVR's employees across our company footprint. This role reports to the Payroll Director and is located onsite at NVR’s office in Pittsburgh, PA. Primary Responsibilities :
Accurate and timely processing of all payrolls, including weekly, biweekly and monthly frequencies.
Oversee processing and review of employee record status updates for new hires, terminations, transfers, etc.
Maintain payroll system tables.
Assist in the planning, testing and implementation of payroll system enhancements.
Research and respond to questions and requests from employees and auditors.
Qualifications :
7+ years of experience processing high volume payroll with proficiency using payroll software for data entry, processing and inquiry.
3+ years of Leadership and Supervisory experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
In depth knowledge of payroll wage and hour laws.
Knowledge of and prior work experience with multi-state and local taxes strongly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience with PDS Vista Payroll system is a plus.
