Starting rate:$26.86Overall Purpose:

Under direct supervision of a Yard Group Leader or Supervisor in charge of scheduled, mobile workers at a facility, to perform grass, wood and shrub cutting, yard slaging, snow removal and salting, general good housekeeping and related work.Job Duties:

Receives and follows instructions in substation and other facilites'clearance, safety, and operating procedures.

Assists in maintaining the substation, facility or other properties in a clean, orderly condition.

Performs: grass, wood and shrub cutting; application of weed control materials, insecticides and fertilizers.

Assists in repair and restoration of yard grades, slag surfaces and drainage installations.

Performs cleaning duties such as: washing of facility interiors, removal of rubbish; washing windows, cleaning exterior grounds, walks, driveways and yards; sweeping, mopping, waxing floors; and, other general cleaning duties as assigned.

Assists in the removal of snow and ice from walkways.

Submits daily logs of the work performed including data entry and other reports of work performed and unusual conditions observed.

Performs other work as required and assigned.Education / Experience Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent required
