Carnegie Mellon University's Pre-College program is a six-week summer program for high school students to explore college life both inside and outside of the classroom. The program enrolls approximately 750 residential students and 50 commuter students. The Pre-College fields of study include Architecture, Art, AI Scholars, Computational Biology, Computer Science Scholars (CSS), Design, Drama, Music, National High School Game Academy, Summer Academy for Mathematics and Science (SAMS), Summer Session (credit-bearing courses), and Writing & Culture.
