Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an IT Auditor located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves directing the daily progress of audit fieldwork and supervising assigned staff on audit assignments. The IT Auditor will be responsible for executing the audit planning process and maintaining technical and audit skills. Responsibilities: Direct the daily progress of audit fieldwork and supervise assigned staff on audit assignments Execute the audit planning process including risk assessment to determine future audit work Develop and update audit programs, ICQs, and permanent audit files Manage the daily progress of fieldwork, including organizing, delegating, and controlling work assignments Review work papers to ensure compliance with established standards and the existence of adequate supporting documentation Prepare audit reports for review in accordance with established report writing standards Maintain technical and audit skills, and perform research on new audit techniques, special projects, accounting pronouncements, and regulatory issues Conduct meetings with management upon commencement and completion of the audit to discuss scope and significant audit issues Develop meaningful recommendations for management to improve the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of controls and operations Perform special assignments commensurate with areas of general and specialized knowledge.Skills: Archer Audit Program Business systems CobiT ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Application controls Audit Findings Auditing Compliance Documentation Requirements Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role as an IT Auditor Proven proficiency with Archer software Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Audit Programs Familiarity with Business Systems and their audit Understanding and experience with CobiT framework Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems Proficient in Application Controls and their audit Experience in documenting Audit Findings Strong skills in Auditing IT systems and processes Demonstrable knowledge of Compliance requirements in IT Excellent Documentation skills in relation to audit processes and findings.
